i'm p much free whenever? have to get back to the apartment from going out for some air but don't even have work for a couple days, and the shift r late evenings anyway

[Ducky doesn't want to give herself time to get anxious and find an excuse not to actually...you know...do the thing.]

[And soon indeed is a Ducky there, dressed in the same grey dress, hair all pinned up and carefully coifed. She looks nervous, and not just because of, you know, having to report her business in the Up to the SIN guards.]

[ South's dressing a lot more like herself, now she well, has clothes and is herself. Jeans, unisex cut t-shirt, leather jacket, boots. Her dye looks refreshed, too. No nervousness on her, but she flashes Ducky an attempt at a reassuring smile when she comes over to her. ]

I am. And excited to see your luxury apartment, ma'am.

[The honorific is for the sake of the guards, humor dancing in Ducky's dark eyes as it comes out.]

[ South snickers under her breath, and she offers Ducky her arm, both for the sake of display and because it'll be easier not to walk too far ahead if she has to keep pace because Ducky's holding it. ]

It is a damn nice place. Better not keep you waiting long then huh? Let's get going.

[Ducky's hand rests gently on South's arm, and she steps in close, very conscious of the height difference between them at this moment. Ah, to be in the shadow of giants...]

[ South starts walking, Ducky's hand definitely the reminder she needs to moderate her pace. She knows the route back to the apartment building from places like the elevator by now, so she leads them back there without getting lost or anything. ]

I'm up on the 8th floor, suite B. You been into the building before?

No, not yet. Believe it or not, you're the first Dominant to take me home.

[Well, there's room to debate how the mindfuck week qualifies, but it's true enough.]

If you've got a decent kitchen, you may have to put up with me making food later.

Oh, yeah, there's a nice kitchen I hardly know what to do with. I've been using the room service.

[ She was not the responsible twin in her youth, she figured out the basics since but this is kind of her first time completely on her own outside of like, the military or the rig, both of which had their own structures.

She leads them into the elevator when they get inside, and it is all very nice in there. Hits the button for the 8th floor. ]

We have an all-day buffet. After about the first two hours, most of it is congealed or cold, and none of it is appetizing.

[ South pulls a face. Yeah, she can imagine how bad that gets. ]

Eugh, the more I hear about the Down housing the worse it fuckin' gets.

Yeah, this place is kinda ridiculous, the apartment feels too big for like, what, two people tops? I mean, my perspective's a bit fuckin' skewed, but...

[ She shrugs. It's honestly nicer than she knows how to live in, but that's a weird complaint to have, she knows. It's not bad, just... weird, for her. And too quiet on her own.

When the elevator doors open she casts a quick, wary glance across the hall at suite A, but seeing no sign of Wash she just leads Ducky to her door and opens it, beckons to let Ducky step inside first. ]
